Members Splendor
So I got to play a Potato Bug Mandolin tonight. A coworker brought it in and asked me if I could tune it and play it for her. It was her father's and she felt bad that she never learned how to play it. I did some looking online and found out that it was made by Gretsch under the name Rex and she said her father told her that her family brought it out west before the turn of the century. It's in great shape and sounded amazing after I got it tuned up. Playing it gave me a cool perspective on history. And I'm pretty sure I was the first person to ever black Back in Black on it.
