Members Vatican
... a re-fret? I've got two or three guitars where there is some grooving in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd frets, on the first two strings, but I don't notice any problems offhand, and the other frets are fine. I don't want to pay for refrets until I have to.
Members dougbeens
Best bet would be to simply try levelling them first... if they are so worn that levelling will make the whole neck drastically low, then I'd consider a partial refret... No need to do the whole thing when all but three frets are already at a good height.
