Members Lone Flanger
I just got a hundred or so each of these: 2n17112n13082n706 First of all, is there a good website out there for looking up transistor specs and other information that's not a Google search? I've got a few more here that I'd like to look up including some with only GE part numbers on them. Secondly, and this one should be obvious, are they of any use in making pedals? I thought I read the 2n1308 can be used in a Fuzz Face and the 2n706 looks like an obsolete 2n2222/2n3904 type Si transistor judging by the specs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Members SUPER VELCROBOY
i don't know what you meant by "not a google search." You can search www.mouser.com for the part number and click on the data sheet. It'll give you a pdf for the specs, etc. As for your second question, don't know. But there is only one way to find out
Members Sir_Dr_Lawyer
2N1308 is an NPN germainum. They are excellent for fuzz. I also really need some. Send me a PM if you want to get rid of them. Here is a link for 2N1711 and 2N706 is an NPN Silcon. Will probably sound good but I've never used them.
