Members Ruoke
Sorry if these "what amp to buy" topics are common, but hey -__-I'm looking for a low watt, low to mid-gain amp head for clean and crunch tones. I used to have a Blues Junior, which I liked, but I don't gig and I use amps for recording, so having combo's isn't really ideal. My price range is around $500, and I live in Canada. Some amps I've been looking at are,Carvin VT16.Jet City JCA20HJet CityJCA20HVI currently have a Marshall DSL15h, but I find it a bit too harsh, and somewhat fizzy with distortion. Overall it's not bad, but I'd like something more focused on low gain, with a bit more headroom in the cleans. As for other considerations, I mostly use single coil pickups.I'd appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Members Ruoke
I've tried the 1 watt and 5 watt Tubemeisters before, and they didn't apeal to me much. The distortion wasn't really up my alley.
