Seems an elementary question but should I be running a lower wattage speaker setup with my JCM 800, 2205? Right now i'm runnin an Avatar 4x12 with celestion g1270 watters or eminence legends. What can I expect with say a vintage 30 or the like? I know i'll get more speaker breakup but is that good? I play classic heavy rock and kindof lean towords an 80's metal tone. Any experienced advice would be great. Thanks, Rob:)

Tone is subjective but IMO V30s and Marshall is like butter with the bread.
