Members Spargett
Hey guys... I have a fender twin 65 reissue, which is really noisy. Especially when I turn up the reverb. I picked it up used and it appears to be in great shape. I am running a 81' Jap tele trough it (neck pickup). I know these amps are a bit "noisy" in general, but mine is really bad. I also have a 68' original twin that is noisy as well, but not as bad as the reissue, which is why I bought the newer one (go figure). So please any ideas or thoughts would be extremely helpful! I look forward to hearing from you all!! Please feel free to email me or hit up online (AIM: spargett) Note: Here are some of the things I have ruled out...1. Lamps/TV's2. Cables3. Pedals
Members fetuspetus
have you had a tech look at it at all? how new are the tubes? have you tried any other guitars with it? I don't know much about fender amps but these are two things I'd say to myself. ben
Members Morning Glory
If it's even noisier than the original, take it back, and then get the original one looked at by a tech.
