Members tws
Hey guys, I tried searching but couldnt seem to find much info. This may be a silly thing to ask but I don't know much about electronics and I wanted to find out what I should do to remove the chassis from my Tremoverb. I'm going to retolex it and just wanted to see if there was a special way it should be done. Also, Im a little worried about what to do with the leather corners. Is it possible to reuse those, or would I better better of buying some plastic ones? Thanks, Will

Members nitrous2400
if i remember right those corners are tacked in, u can gently pull them out if u have the right tools, but its prob easier to just buy new from mesa. pm me if u need help with the tolex job
Members R0B0
DON"T touch anything in that chassis without draining the filter caps. Please be careful.

Members zoomzilla
Unplug it, turn it to on from standby a few times should help, otherwise you can use a multimeter to drain them. OR just don't touch anything!

OR just don't touch anything! This is NOT the way to drain power caps You need to drain them to ground through a resistor.
