My lighting has been outgrowing my Scion XB for the last few months, so I picked up an '01 GMC Savanna 2500. No shelves in the back, so its an empty canvas.What seems to be the best way to transport your light rig in a van? Shelves? Hooks on the walls to hang truss? Members drummer762 Posted January 14, 2014 Author Members Share Posted January 14, 2014 It actually has a bulkhead installed already, I just need to replace the handle lock for the pass-thru door.There aren't any walls, just the painted sheet metal.I'm thinking I will still use my cases for certain things, but I would prefer to show up to gigs with the trusses pre-wired and the lights already on them. Thinking about hooks to hold them, or possibly putting them on the floor of the van with something protecting them, like building them "cubby holes" or something.
