Members stevegarris
I've been shopping for a simple dmx light controller that I can run while running sound. My usage will be very simple. I'm looking for pre-set scenes and chases that I can call up with a single button push. I would like to have the ability to change the fade rate between scenes. A master dimmer is also a plus. My setup includes (8) Chinese flat pars, (2) Blizzard Hotbox5's, (1) ADJ Megabar, (2) Chinese Slimpar 64's.There might be a couple of scanners in my future, but that's a ways off. I'm still hunting for a pair of wide angle, front wash fixtures. For now I'm using a couple of Par 38's with 70W floods (no dmx). I've read the limited reviews and posts on this board. Does anyone here use this board and if so, what are your thoughts?
Members BillESC
I've used it and have also installed one in a local venue. Easy to use and very very powerful.

Bill, can you answer this: If I have a bunch of static scenes programmed, and activating them manually, can I use the fade rate slider to adjust the fade rate between these scenes? Members BillESC
It's been a couple years since I've used the Magic, but I believe you can. I know you can program fade rates and save them.
Members stevegarris
Thanks Bill. I've got a used one coming any day now. I'll report here when I get it up & running.
