Two tops, like, one per side? How big is the area to cover?

We put a COmpact 218 and a Compact 2 on each side of our 24' stage and playing CD's it was good and clean (and full) a good 75 feet back. It was only 'Loud' for the first 30-40 feet. This was outside in a large park. Inside, they would crush.

They are a very nice box, definitely work great with subs. I have not used ours as stand-alones.

We use 3 Compact 2's on each side and two Compact 218's on each side. it is a great rig, with plenty of power and good sound. IMHO

^^^^ yes one per side as stand alone. an open area such as a park or field.

also bassred how do you think they would sound without the subs? judging from your experience with them?
      thanks
