I posted this in the Presonus forum and got a couple updates but if you anything else needs to be added please comment and I'll update it. Things the 1642 has that the 1602 doesn't or are different: Mic/Line Inputs - (differences are obvious) Aux Inputs Inserts Direct Outs Tape Outs Subgroups Auxes - 6 vs. 4 Dedicated output meters Speaker delay on sub outs Aux/Effects Pre/Post - Switchable via button vs. system menu Phantom Power, Mute, Solo, Firewire Input - Individual buttons Gate - Threshold/release vs. just threshold Compressor - Soft knee, separate attack/release vs. response Channel EQ - 4 band vs. 3 band Graphic EQ - Mains and auxes vs. just Mains Talkback - can be assigned to Main Mix Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
