Members machman Posted September 5, 2011 Members Share Posted September 5, 2011 I am a solo act playing small clubs and bars.Used to be involved in bands as a singer but have decided to go solo last year after a few years rest from gigging!!My gear is very basic and easily transported around but the sound is great,which is what i wanted.Bose L1 MK11 and 2x Bose bass bins with tonematch(which is basically a mixer and sound effects processor in one samll box),IPod for my mp3 backing tracks,TC Helicon create XT and Shure Beta 87c microphones.My material is mainly Swing and Rat Pack which i really enjoy singing and it has proved very popular with the punters also.I am getting regular gigs which is a bonus i suppose considering it is definately harder now to find places that will accomodate live acts compared to the 80's when i first started out playing live.Any other solo acts out there in the UK?
