  • controlling pitch bend thru MIDI

Hey all. I am trying to draw in a sine wave in a pro tools MIDI track to modulate pitch bend on my EA-1. It is difficult to draw by hand, is there something you can select that will draw you a perfect sine wave? i have a feeling i've done this before but maybe not in PT. thanks

Frankly, you'd be far better off using a program like ChucK to generate the midi messages sending them to the virtual output of something that could record them into a MID file, or directly into the track (if your DAW supports controller recording).

I recently wrote a library of handy routines to do MIDI IO in ChucK, so that would be easy, and so should generating the sine wave with whatever time interval you like.
