Members vertigo_
I have an akai miniak and I want to plug in an expression pedal and control the volume of the synth. I looked in the manual and could not find how to do it. Anyone knows how to setup the expression pedal to control the volume level of the synth? Thanks! Members mildbill
Don't have a MiniAK, but plug your pedal into the jack labeled 'Expression': In the ModMatrix, assign 'ExpPedal' to be the source, then select what you want to control - probably 'Env1Amp', then set the amount. Then give it a try.
Members Jercat
I've got a Yamaha FC7....I want to control the volume. When I use it directly plugged into the Miniak expression pedal input it does not have a good sweep...it's like OFF, little swell FULL volume before it reaches the all the way down point. It's got very little room to adjust within....kinda like the usable temperature on your shower....HOWEVER if I plug it into the Yamaha S90ES and midi it the sweep is long and smooth like it's supposed to be. I too would like to know which brand pedal would work best DIRECTLY with the Miniak!
