please help me understand the differance from a Time pad vs a Vector Control vs a ribon etc

Ok whats is the Differance from a  Vector stick that comes like in the wave station  (Korg Oasys?)

and Like a Time pad or something from a Roland V sinth  

and  a long ribbon controller from a short ribbon controller like from the Korg Prophecy

and all that from  Joystick

 

And if all are diferent would it be imposible  to one keyboard have them all ?? becuase there from diferent companies?
