Members telepaul Posted October 17, 2002 Members Share Posted October 17, 2002 I heard that the remastered version has the music in true pitch. The original is famous for being a quarter step sharp. (I think its sharp; might be flat.) With a Sabine riff decoder or something similar Miles' solos should be pretty easy to figure out. www.jazzimprov.com is the link to Jazz Improv magazine. They always transcribe solos. I'm sure they have stuff from Cannonball, Miles, Coltrane, Evans, etc. transcribed from that album. Ask them.
