1982 Gibson Les Paul 30th Anniversary

This is a KILLER Les Paul!

These were the last guitars that Gibson made before they stopped all production in Kalamazoo MI

They were made in three runs [A.B.C], and the first run is considered to be the best...as some of the later runs have multi-pieced construction.

These were the first attempt of Gibson doing "historic reissues"...by some of the same people that built the originals...on the original machinery & tooling.

Modeled after a '57...second year with the ABR-1 bridge...first year of the hum-bucking pickups.

They got it right.

The shape of the top dish...the neck shape & size & pitch of the headstock...the binding in the cutaway...the "Tim Shaw era" P.A.F.pickups...it's all here in this guitar.

Les Paul himself heartedly endorsed this run of L.P.'s.

And this guitar is now over 30 years old.

Short of an original '57 or one of the more recent Custom Shop Historic reissue models, this is as good as it gets!

All original aside from a Pro refret years ago, the neck pickup mounting ring was replaced [have the original included], and Straplocks were added [original strap buttons included] it's 100% original.

And it's in outstanding condition for it's age!

A few dings & nicks here & there but not much...the top is in especially good shape!

9 lbs 12 oz

More info and/or detailed pic's on request.

Serious inquiries only please.

Asking $3295 O.B.O.

I reserve the right to end this listing early as the item is available for sale locally as well.
