    Virgil Donati channels John Bonham for Bonzo's Birthday Bash

    We got the rare opportunity to watch the always-astounding Virgil Donati rehearse with the all-star house band for the 2012 edition of Bonzo’s Birthday Bash—a tribute to the late Led Zeppelin drummer. In this clip the group practices “Kashmir” from Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti, in which Donati’s fills become increasingly less Bonham-ish as the song proceeds.
