Members ChromaLord
FYI (and I dont wish to insult anyone who already knows this)As part of the local Network TV & Clear Channel subsidiary's to boost business they now give away all of the ad music for FREE. Yep, you read it right-FREE!They buy up dozens and dozens of lesser known music libraries and bundle the music fee inside the media buy rate.No licensing, no sync fees-bupkiss! Also, any of you who make a career writing for libraries: It is quickly becoming commonplace to cut the composer out of all the publishing, and only give 50% of the copyright AND without any sync fees. Seems there are too many composers and music libraries and the producers are getting greedy and picky. Enjoy
Members raggie
Nothing unusual. Typical corporate mindset that musicians are so desperate to get signed that they'll sell their souls. When will they realize that music is not profitable and just leave it alone.
