Members grachuss
Has anyone had any exeriance working on a fishing boat? I was wondering because it would seem like a viable alternative for getting to places that would normally require you to take a plane. Say if you found a boat that went from the east coast to somewhere in europe. You would make money and have paid travel to europe. If someone can, please tell me if this would work. thanks
Members murphmusik
why not just buy a plane ticket and get there in a few hours....rather than a few WEEKS??
Members grachuss
Because you would make money instead of losing it. Not to mention it would help to have extra cash on hand in case your tour plans went aray. Obviously if your signed to a reputable label they would take care of that, but this post was directed at independent bands that wanted to tour europe. Members murphmusik
ok.. being from the Massachusetts coast, I know a lot of people who were in the fishing business. It's an extremely demanding job.....and dangerous! (storms, projectiles....) I wouldn't advise it as a means of transportation to Europe to tour. Members Redsand187
Yeah, unless you are a pro fisher I wouldn't even think about it. But I think that if you are going to tour Europe, you should have money to pay for it, otherwise, I doubt your trip will be remotely successful.
