Members tomr612
i dont know if this is the right place to ask, but what are the Yamaha electric drum machines like? I'm thinking about getting the one with foot pedals and 7 pads for learning the drums on, coz I cant afford a proper kit and i dont really have the room. Anyone ever had a go on one of these? Members deeg dinz
I'm not sure about electric drums. I't may be better for you to save and buy real drums because you will have to buy a PA and monitors, especially if you plan on playing in a band or live etc. but if you do decide to get these electric kits, make sure is MIDI because you will get bored of the sounds that come with the kit and MIDI is better for tweaking out sounds as well. Members SugarMagnolia
Yeah, what he said! You can't beat an old skool drum kit...i personally HATE the sound of electronic drums...so flat, so predictable!Go with the MIDI...you can always acquire new samples...the possibilities are endless....
