Sound Quality

For being whats its known for, this guitar can actually play pretty clean if you want it to. However I like some of the more crunchier sounds that this guitar can give me and its GREAT for slide because of the sustain. The pick-ups are single coil so you might get a bit of a buzz until you tinker with the settings on your amp a bit (I have a Marshall). I play blues, country, and rockabilly and I think this guitar is great for all 3.

I have no intentions on playing live anytime soon (scary) but I think it would definitely be great for that. I don't plan on getting another electric, this is good enough to be my one and only.

General Comments

I've been playing for almost 2 years so I don't have much experience. However I would not spend 800 bucks on something I did not love. I put a lot of thought into it and I'm happy with my choice. I tried out les pauls, strats and a few others but this won my heart in the end.
