Pur ti miro

I'm translating Monteverdi's Pur ti miro for a recital, and got a bit stuck...

I've come across annodo - from the verb annodare. This means to tie/to knot. So the line would be...

Still, I tie you

Which doesn't really make any sense. Can anyone shed any light on this?
