Members williamforty
Hello everyone, I did some acapella work this evening and decided I'd like to share it with a forum, and harmony-central seemed the perfect place! What do you guys think? I just bashed it together in about half an hour - I will absolutely be doing the whole song very soon because I just love th harmonies! It's on my homepage at the moment (http://www.random-music.co.uk/), but for a direct link it's http://www.random-music.co.uk/music/The%20Longest%20Time.mp3 Feedback appreciated! Members YeahDoIt
Wow I feel like I'm in a drive in hamburger restaurant in the 1950's and the carhop ponytail waitress is wearing roller skates. That song is pretty good.

Members williamforty
this is pretty good. i felt like i was in a pleasantville time warp to a drive thru in the 50s. whats your background For an elaborate version you can visit http://www.random-music.co.uk/aboutme.php, but for the more succinct version.. I started singing when I left school, started having a few lessons with an excellent teacher (in singing and performing and well, life in general!). She's also the MD of the kentwood show choir (http://kentwoodshowchoir.org/), so I joined and have been performing ever since for the last 6-7 years. Done a fair few shows, and have had a few solos in front of audiences up to about 600 people. Good fun !
Members MikeyParent
Hi and welcome! Feedback appreciated! Lead vocals are fantastic. But there seems something off about the harmonies. The lower harmonies seem flat or in a different key even than the main vocal. Or perhaps that is just me...? Specifically I can hear it one the last "oh" on the woooooah, oh oh oh Also, some higher harmony would be the icing on the cake. Members williamforty
Ok - I've re-recorded this.. and I think I've made some improvements! Firstly I've recorded the whole song this time, and sang some of the harmonies up the octave to get some higher harmony as suggested.. I think it works better now, although I think I can probably do the lead vox better. Also singing in a higher key this time.. The Link is the same, but here it is again: http://www.random-music.co.uk/Direct link to mp3 file: http://www.random-music.co.uk/music/The%20Longest%20Time%202.mp3
