Members Prog
Return to Forever This video shows how musicians in the pre-dawn of civilization used to actually play instruments. They didn't have computers, but they did have the wheel and fire.
Members HuskerDude
That's great that they actually played live, it's just a shame they chose to play what they played.
Members orangefunk
Haha... yep Magician wasn't a very strong track... the rest of the gig is burning though... it was originally broadcast on the BBC back in 1976.... The Bill Connors RTF is much better check out the Musikladen clips if you can..
Members Yorksynth
Saw Chick Corea with the Elektrik Band in Atlanta 2 years ago, he can still play the fingers off a lot of guys half his age. No Mini or Odyssey though, just a Rhodes, Yamaha Grand, & a Motif 8, plus some rack stuff I couldn't identify.
Members Analog Kid
If the Gods loved the ancients, they would have given them Analog. Yorksynth, glad you had a good time visiting my old hometown. The one thing i miss about Atlanta was the variety of live shows i could go to. But, I've got a five year plan for Savannah! Members Yorksynth
I'll be in Atlanta again in September, go there for Dragon*Con, which is where I saw Chick. Just hope the hurricanes keep away, 2 years ago we had to race Frances out of town, interesting experience when your only previous experience of driving in the US was the trip down to Atlanta (we were staying with friends in NJ before & after the Con, & I was the only driver in the group because someone who was supposed to be driving let us down with a week to go). Members Analog Kid
Once got laid in a stairwell at the Marriot at DragonCon... but , that's another story. A big group from Savannah heads up there every year so there's a very good chance I'll see you up there.
