Members JustinThyme
I am a registered user of Reason 3.0. But I have a low end laptop enroute via EBay, and would like to get either 1.0 or 2.0, since the RAM requirements are 1/4 that of 3.0, for use on the laptop. Unfortunately, I've only seen 3.0 for sale on EBay. So if anyone has Reason 1.0 or 2.0 that they would like to part with for a very reasonable sum, please let me know. Cheers! Members Khazul
Why not just takes adavantage of the the second install that the license allows for and just not populate it as much. As of v3.0.4 it CPU use shouldnt really be any higher for a reason 2.5 compatible track.
Members JustinThyme
According to the specs, the minimum memory requirements for 1.0-2.5 was 64mb, and with 3.0 it jumpted to 256mb. The laptop will only have 256mb, so if I can get better performance with lower overhead, that would be a plus. Additionally, with 3.0, it appears that it is now required to have both the factory sound bank AND Orkester installed on the HD. I'd rather skip Orkester and save 500 mb of drive space. Members keanu reeves
methinks 3.0 will, for the most part, run just fine on that laptop.
