Members MartinHines
Although I think Microsoft is evil, I do give props to Bill Gates for establishing his "Bill and Melinda Gates" charitable foundation. They hold recepients accountable for achieving results, or no more funding. They have given away more money than any other private philanthropy -- ever. So far they have given away a little more than U.S. $10 BILLION:http://www.gatesfoundation.org/Grants/
Members idiotboy
With respect, here's a few clarifications: 1. It's not a new mission. Bill has been working with his foundation in Africa for years. He's just devoting more time to it now. 2. He's not completely retiring from Microsoft. He'll still be the chairman and devote some part of his day to it. 3. Net worth is more like 60 billion. It is true that he can buy any synth he wants. Members idiotboy
4. Microsoft isn't evil. It might be aggressive, misguided, myopic, maybe even dishonest, but not evil.

Members gilbertopb
May be Bill gates start a new aproach in busines, so I will have a decent chance for moving for a job. Currently there are a flood of who-is-friend-of-who-was-your-friend-in-college (in my country), so employement become a dirty seek.
