They smear that girls face over every tabloid in the grocery store with all kinds of msinformation. She should've thought of that before she starting making males in America (and around the world for that matter) soil their pants. She didn't sell records you know. She sold herself, for fame, and in a tasteless way. It's bad to say, but she thinks she can take herself back from all the people she sold herself to. People will buy magazines that talk crap about her or say what she's up to lately. People want to know, now after she did her campaign for Slut of America. I feel sorry for celebrities, but jeez you should have some sort of idea of what you're getting into. My question is -- why does anyone even care about her anymore. she hasn't been able to make the transition from kiddy pop star to pop diva, and is pretty much irrelevant anymore. -- but then again the tabloids haven't let donnie and marie go either. moral of the story -- be careful what you wish for -- you just might get it. I mean she doesn't have the usual daily hardships that most of us do, but she has her own things to deal with that are rough. Hollywood is just a different world. However she did choose to be in it. Considering she's worth 50+ mil, I'd say it was worth it man. I mean {censored}, she and her children are set for life! She can move to anyplace she wants in the world into seclusion if she wants. She shouldn't HAVE to, but that's part of the gig if she wants "Privacy." She chooses to stay in paparazzi land, so they will flock to her like locusts. THAT, IMO is where she is naive. You can't be in town to hang with all your celebrity friends and expect privacy. Hell Brangelina went to a 3rd world country to get away and they STILL had to be secretive! If I were her and it's legal, hire a security force for a given perimeter of where she travels, and on the down low knock the teeth out of every dude that gets within 50 feet of her and take a bat to their cameras. Ok, that's carried away wishful thinking, but you get the idea. Honestly I don't know if I could stay out of trouble if I had people chasing me like that all the time. I think I'd snap and start busting heads... What also doens't help is the hollywood mentality that her beau actually has a SHOT at being some type of artist. In the public eye he's a joke, and that's a BIG no-no in hollywood. However he probably knows his place, and that might make the marriage work. That's another topic I guess. Basically, Britney just needs to stop doing stupid {censored} in public and should consider moving to somewhere more remote. And give her a break about the weight. She's having two kids back to back. That's rough on a woman's body. Any of you that have a wife that has had even one can understand. Granted we're all used to drooling over her, so it's weird to see her look like a "Normal" person that you could see pushing a cart in the grocery store, but I think she'll get it back together and be a hottie again. Lastly, I think her career took a big tank because she didn't grow with the market, and took too LONG of a haitus. Out of sight out of mind, especially now that attention spans are shorter than ever! Very unbefitting for a celebrity of her stature. Yes... I feel badly that she's prey to any schmuck looking for a buck with a Nikon D70. Yes I feel badly that paparazzi will scream obscenities at her to get their prized "shot". Yes I feel badly that she can't even sunbathe in her own home without helicopters overhead. However my view is the same as above.... if she really wants a family life... it ain't in L.A. .... it's in LA as in Louisiana where she grew up. She could buy 30 acres for what it costs for a 1/2 in Beverely Hills, she can have privacy, she can peace, she can have it all. At this point not being in LA looking "fat" might actually help her a bit. Brittany wants to experience life as paradox... she wants career success, fame and fortune, while convincing the public that she's a down sweet, home, southern mom... a "hick" as she puts it. A hick with a 7 year span at the top of the pop charts, living in Hollywood, with more money than most people make in Louisiana. Of course we already knew that Brittany wasn't very smart.... of course we knew that she couldn't sing very well... without alot of studio help. What Brittany was born to do was to perform. And she's done that very well. Which leaves me clueless as to why she didn't "perform" well in her interview. Her answers were careful, but unconvincing.... When she did cry she looked like someone about to crack. Did she dress herself? Did she do her own makeup? Did she fire her publicist, management and any one else who guided her career until this point? Sadly, I think her best years are well behind her. She had way longer than the 15 minutes she deserved, but you get the sense that she "just doesn't get it". Her appeal is her down home, seductive smile. Now she wants to be a mom, serve apple pie and still sell sex. She married a loser, she has two kids... three counting Federline... she's overweight, past her prime... at the current stage quite illrelevant. It's not like she's the first celebrity to regret fame - pretty much everyone in her situation or similar have had similar experiences. She knew what she was getting into - you reap what you sow. I agree with that - but none of us really knows what its like to be that famous, and have people hounding you and trying to take pictures of you in all kinds of compromising situations. It would suck. But for her money, Id shut my mouth and deal with it. She could easily just buy a house in Tuscany and just hang out with her family for a couple years until people forget about her...I think she likes the attention, personally.
