Members Malik
So I just scored a D-50 for free after buying an Emu E5000 Ultra. All in all, it was a pretty sweet deal; only problem so far has been with the LED display- after warming up, it starts showing japanese characters and which then secede to blocks. It's quite kool, really, only I'd prefer to be able to edit the thing. Thus I'm replacing the battery. Has anyone attempted this? I read the archives and learned that it's not the soldered type. (which is a good thing) Need I just remove the bottom, or is it more involved? Any experience welcome thanks! malik
Members Jez
I did take mine apart once, and I seem to remember that it's fairly easy to access after taking the bottom off. As long as you're careful around the boards you shouldn't have many problems changing it over.
