Problem - Triton Le

Hello friends.

As some of you know, I have a triton le.

I noticed an annoying problem...

When I play lead sounds (not all, only few specific lead sounds), I notice a disturibing noise (Something which sounds like a "tsssssssssss" ).

Anyway, It happens only if I play from a low tone key, to the highest... (You know when I roll my finger,all over the board..

---------------------------------------- like this..)

It also happens when I play a low tone with an high tone from the highest octave,in the same time.

It seems like the leads that does these noise aren't programmed to be played with the highest octave...

If I really messed with your brain, heres a thread in other forum, that a man who has the same problem opened.

(I didn't understand from the guys who answered the dude... And besides, you guys are better. Your answer really hit the spot, and I trust you the most. Especially packrat (Yeah.. I'm serious).

That file can't be heard unless one is a registered member.

You could try uploading it to www.rapidshare.de - then everyone can hear it (plus it allows bigger files to be put there).

Is this with every preset or only a single one?

The questions I would ask are:

-- Which specific Program(s) causes this?

-- Do you hear it if you switch OFF the Insert Effect?

-- Do you have Sample RAM installed?

The forum poster you referenced appears to be having a problem with one sound and mentions a "High gain" effect.

Anyway, I noticed that on a lead sound called:

Square wave Lead.

There are more leads that do that, which I downloaded.

I don't have sample ram, I didn't upgrade for a sampler.

And Yes.. I do hear it after turning off the insert.. and the master.

I changed the gain of the Master Eq, and still I hear that noise.

Another day, another question by someone who will never read the manual.

Go read the manual, when you know what a sample wave is, tell us how many sample waves are affected by this problem. The patches you are downloading are just collections of settings, not sounds and it's entirely possible they share the same wave or waves.

Then make a basic patch with just the wave you suspect, no filter/effects and see if the problem is there.

Well, mate maybe I didn't understand you correctly, but the sound im having problem with, is not one of the sounds that I downloaded.. it's a preset program. In bank C, number 26, which is called Square wave lead.Besides, Im having problem with more lead preset programs... (same problem).

I don't have much experience in all this synth {censored}, and I sometimes don't understand what the bloody manual wants from me. So I'm having an hard time reading it.

You've already described your way of reading the manual, you think of a question, look up that *exact* question in the index, when it isn't there, shrug and say 'I can't find it in the manual'.

By comparison, by looking in the Triton LE basic guide and following the references to the parameter guide I was able to find the critical diagram and descriptions literally in seconds.

I'm aware that you don't know what these synth terms mean and that's because you haven't put in even the tiniest bit of effort to figuring out how your synth works or what it can do. Instead you start a few threads a week asking us things that should have been clear to anyone reading the basic manual, or reading any of the synth material.

Even now, after I've told you what you need to do to isolate the source of the problem you started this thread with, you sit there waving between pleading and insults but never for a minute thinking that you should try working some things out for yourself.

No, I didn't tell you exactly what page of the manual gave you exactly the right command to issue to do this. That's because I've seen what happens when other people do that for you, you keep coming back. I want you to read the manual so you can work all this out for yourself.
