It just so happens the company I work for has an office here in Austin to which I was sent today and tomorrow to do some work (I live in Houston). I can clearly see the Namm banners on the front of the convention center across the street from our office. I'm now hold up in a hotel around the corner, but I have no tickets or industry ties so I won't be going. Guess this is the closest I will get to a Namm show. So close yet sooo far. What torture. Guess I'll read about it online like the most of us here. Or maybe if I go find some powerful binoculars I can see inside and give the forums some reviews from an outsider standpoint. Oh well... If that's generally true, does that mean the synth companies don't attend or they do attend and just don't show new products?
