Members futureboy76
Very simple question. Just bought a triton and have an old sustain pedal from my roland keyboard. can I somehow use it or do I have to buy some additional expensive "expression" pedal? Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to navigate the manual but it's very daunting for the uninitiated. On that tip, can anyone recommend a good book or resource for learning this beast? Members rickkreuzer
Yes you can. If the polarity is reversed, simply press GLOBAL, then MENU, then P2 CONTROLLER and voila! You're on the page to set that. Online help? Members Avram
I also got an old sustain pedal (Yamaha's)... All I did was connecting it to the "Damper" connection of the Triton (Ive got a triton le, but every triton got this connection).
Members Dejavoodoo
If you change the polarity of the pedal, don't forget to write the global setting. Otherwise, you'll have to do it all again next time.
Members eric
You can actually modify the damper pedal on your upright piano to control the Triton. It is a gigging musician's dream.
