Question for Triton Users

Hi Triton Users:

Wondering if you can help me on this one. After having downloaded a few patches from Triton Haven and installed them on my Triton Extreme, I notice all the arps (including the factory installed patches) are behaving erratically:

You hear a few notes and then a machine-gun like stutter. If I un-check "Key Sync" in the Arp page then the stutter goes away but the arp pattern is still strange.

Any suggestions or advice?

Many thanks in advance

best

Hello.

Just go to GLOBAL mode and restore your factory sounds.

In future I would also recommend you only load the Programs within a PCG file, and not the full PCG file. Loading the full PCG file when it is not necessary could leave you with a load of junk in memory.

Regards.

Sharp.

Thanks Sharp.

I was about to do that. Don't remember: can you restore bank by bank? Or would you recommend restoring all the banks and getting rid of the third party sounds altogether (i.e. restoring the E bank together with the rest so that it remains empty?)

cheers

I'd do what Sharp said, and then I'd do a global reset.

I had my Pro-X at the shop once .... some MIDI issue .... and they loaded a few "non-korg" patches on there. One was supposed to be a Rhodes. It was awful. I just reinstalled the factory data. Unfortunately, I hadn't saved my patch edits, so I was busy for the next week.....

Kid Nepro is supposed to be pretty good. I might try them one day if I can get up the courage.
