Yep this was from a BBC TV series called Tomorrows World in 1974/5 or thereabouts althought this rebroadcast is from Top of The Pops 2.

I have a CD of Japanese bands covering Kraftwerk, and I always thought Hiroshi's cover of that song was pretty over-the-top maudlin, but I guess, since it's a Japanese singer, he's got a point.

well... only disaster so far is Chernobyl, I live close by to Sellafield btw... and I only have 6 fingers on each hand atm, :D
