Members cruciatus Posted August 17, 2006 Members Share Posted August 17, 2006 as basic as it gets, inspired by what's-his-name (DT) doing the chromatic scale-- so if in my right hand i want to play C Eb F F# G Bb C, what is the classically proscribed "best" theory? i think i play it 1-3 1-2-3 4 5 . that can't be right. and when you do a scale is it best to finger it the same way coming back down. He says "include the natural seventh in your blues scale, it sounds better and it makes the fingering easier" The fingering for C is: 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 subsititute the thumb for the 4 when crossing into the next octave....
