Members version
I was checking out a Fender Rhodes Stage 73 (Mark 1) at a local music store on my lunch break. Cosmetically, the condition is about average- there aren't any large rips in the tolex or anything, but it's certainly not mint. The keys themselves are a bit dirty too.The sound and playability are good, with a few exceptions. There are three keys that are missing the rubber tips to the tops of the mallets, and the highest C# key has the top cracked off (although you can still play the note...you just need to press down on a stump of a key). It probably needs a few other tweaks that I could take care of myself. The top and legs are included, but no sustain pedal. It was tagged at $599, but the owner said he'd knock it down to $499 because of the issues. Do you guys think it's a decent price?
Members orangefunk
Yep you could easily get the spare parts off ebay for next to nothing.. Sustain pedal might be the most expensive part

Members elsongs
A Rhodes without a pedal ain't worth it. I hate it when Ebay sellers get all lazy and go, "Oh you can find a pedal for cheap on ebay," Yeah f'ing right. Also without a pedal, the seller either doesn't play it, doesn't play well and therefore doesn't take good care of the Rhodes.
