Members Mook
There were a few MPC2000 limited editions, I seem to remember at least an orange one and a camouflage one.
Members The Real MC
The first year of the Performer edition Voyager Moog offered exotic hardwoods for their cases. They can still make you a custom case from the hardwood of your choice, Big City Music seems to have a stash of them that show up on the 'bay occasionally. Yeah , i remember now. Someone was arguing with her about romplers or something. I PMed her to see if she was ok, but got no reply. She had a wicked collection of synths. Hopefully she might come back? ........ Anyways, back to topic: Roland MKS7
Members orangefunk
I guess it all depends what you mean by "limited edition". Are we simply talking "rare", "special edition" (as in the special edition DX7 II) or even prototypes. Wrt the latter, I remember Oberheim showing an OB-8k (at least I think that was the name) around 1986/87 which simply was the Matrix 1000 in a keyboard. Of course then theres the Yamaha VP-1 (polyphonic VL). Oh and what about the original OASYS edit: heres a link to a pic of the OB8k http://dvdborn.blogspot.com/2006/01/synths-that-never-were-part-1-oberheim.html
