XbaseforAirbase?

I have an XBase09, and swapping down to an AirBass, I would loose two things: the Sequencer and the knobs - both of which I consider core to the JoMoX's appeal.

Now, I could (consievably) drive an AirBase from my MD...and use a midi controller that I program templates for... but that wouldnt be the same.

For myself, if I upgrade the XBase it is going to be going all the way up to a 999, and not the AirBase.

Yeh,ive been thinking about the same thing really, what makes the 09 is all its knobs and Sequencer,i just wanted to add more sounds to it,but ive just found a way of doing it.

There's a thing called XROM,a chip for the XBASE09,looks pretty easy to solder in,what it does is it allows you to put any sounds you want into the hihat section from your PC via midi, and its only 40 euros!!!!

So maybe meswapping my 09 for a 99 is a bad idea :freak:

Thanks
