Members SoundwaveLove
I'm interested in these DS8's i've been reading about. I've seen them in ebay for $170 is that a good price? Korg is known for being skimpy with the features these days (ie electribe) Does the DS8 give you control over the entire envelope? (sounds like a dumb question, but korg is *that* lame sometimes)
Members Sealed
Yes, you can edit DS-8's entire envelopes. DS-8 is a good FM synth with its unique analog-like architecture. But if you want to fully control the FM engine, go for YAMAHA synth and add a cheap multi-effects. FYI, DS-8 info and .mp3s:http://deepsynthesis.net
Members SoundwaveLove
Thanks. The only one of these that I could find has a missing power cord, and the prongs certainy don't look standard. Are these cords hard to find? Is it difficult to convert it to a standard computer type power cord?
