Members urbanscallywag
Oh sorry. matrixsynth seems to post items to his site from eBay that may be easily overlooked, bringing attention to people who don't habitually hit refresh every 10 minutes (me). These rare or odd items seem to be going up in value since matrixsynth takes notice them. Hence good for the seller (more money) and bad for the (cheapskate) buyer. Members ElectricPuppy
Ah. This sounds like a website I'm unfamiliar with. Sherman, set the Googliator for "matrixsynth"... Found it. (http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/ for other ignorant souls like myself) Geez. Thanks for adding to my list of time-sucking websites, Urban. Members urbanscallywag
Yes no problem, sir. I read the site too, though I shouldn't because it goes against everything I stand for (deals on eBay)! Have fun there are like 2 years of archives. Quiz on Friday. Members ElectricPuppy
I don't do well on tests. In other news, I have yet to buy any synth gear off of the Bay. I'm too traumatized with horror stories of deals gone bad.
Members urbanscallywag
I bought 90% of my stuff on eBay. I have had only had good to great experiences. I have my personal fraud detection down to a science. I used to post fraud auctions and good deals (that I didn't want) here back in the day. Members clusterchord
yeah i'm aware that could be a potential problem.. many of us are on the lookout for certain rarities. and fpr example on AH mailing list, it can get annoying if someone, who has no intention of buying the item at all, starts shouting about this great deal all over the list, for everyone to see - like he's doing u a favor, but actually is driving the price up the hill, and "u were this close to a deal of the lifetime" . in a way this ruines it for other ppl who also took the time/patience n energy to watch the ebay or craigs etc for every day, becuase they want the item badly enough. over here, kss members don't buy the rarities that often, as population averages younger. actually i posted good mks70 n obxa deals myself.. but otoh, on AH mailing list there's lot of older collectors with sh*tload of cash ready.. kind i don't want to find out about a good vintage deal before me.. Members urbanscallywag
Yeah. What he said! Must be nice when you're selling something. I always seem to get below market value. Perhaps its actually worth designing a "unique" auction to get attention on these kind of sites.
Members syncretism
Guys, there's a "Wladrof Queue +" for sale on eBay with no reserve! 199 USD and 18 hours to go! Too bad I think they sound like rubbish, I'd never want one!

I wanted to wring the guy's neck, but what can you do? I'm guessing that was me. I've posted quite a few eBay links. My apologies.
Members mildbill
It wasn't something that I really wanted, so I don't even remember what or who it was. I kind of think it was a piglet who's currently banned tho. The experience probably just saved me some money.
