Members colin4444
I've been looking around at the different options, but I feel like I still don't know much. I've played the piano for awhile, so I want a keyboard that can act as a normal piano (probably 88 keys w/ weighted action) but also give me a lot of room for writing songs and using different kinds of voices. The only problem is that I don't want to spend all my money on one keyboard, so IDEALLY I want to spend no more than $700 or so (I know it's hard to get what I'm asking for less than that). Do you guys have any suggestions? Also, how do I tell if a keyboard requires you to have an amp to play out loud? I notice quite a few keyboards have no speakers on the top, so I'm assuming they require amps . . . which is somethine I don't want to have to buy. Thanks for any help. Members colin4444
Thanks for your suggestoin. I'll check that one out. Another question: I got an amp with my bass guitar I got a while ago, and I don't know much about amps, so . . . would my Peavey bass amp work for a keyboard? If you can afford one, invest in a keyboard amp such as behringer, yorkville theyre fairly cheap or a roland cube if you have the bucks, even thru your stereo if it can handle the power, remember a keyboard signal is much stronger than other sources thru your stereo so watch the volume morty77 good luck
