Members wheresgrant3
A buddy of mine is gigging with the 88 key Pro X and an 01W. He wants to upgrade his setup so that when he set's up his samples he doesn't have to save the info on his disk drive, but some kind of external source. It takes too long to load samples using the 3.5 Floppy His idea was to control the triton's sampled information, via MIDI through his 01WFD. Which is his top keyboard. He says he's seen setups that would enable him to use a foot switch that changes my top board from it's normal preset sounds to read the sampled information, and then be able to click back and use the internal sounds again. Instead of keymapping the Triton for triggering samples he wants to use the O1W. If he can't use the Triton he's willing to use an external hardware sampler (Akai, BOSS..etc) to store and play samples. Any ideas how to accomplish this? Members Mike51
It sounds like your friend just wants to make things more complicated than they have to be. Just have him use the Triton as a controller as it's far superior to the 01W.
Members wheresgrant3
That's my feeling too. I guess he uses the Triton 80% of his setlist stuff and it would be handier to be able to assign those samples to the 01W.
