I've had some experience with both the xbase09 and MD in the past. Deciding between the UW and 999. I know how good the 999 sounds based on past experience. BUT the interface made me a bit crazy before. MD was for more user friendly (ie parameter locks). Is the 999 interface a significant improvement on the 09? It appears to be, but would like some user feedback.Key point of interest is the (in)ability to copy and paste drum sounds from one step of a track to others. For instance, you have your quarter note kicks then put a ghost kick in one spot, tweak until you like it. Now you want to try that same ghost in a different spot.
