Members wades_keys
Paramater templates - map the parameter names and response curves and provide named templates, such as "minimoog". I want to call up a template and have the same control layout AND - response curves. The mappings could be programmed using 2d matrix transformation - i.e. world to view type stuff - not hard at all with say directx or roll your own matrix math - 90's tech and well published algos. Hey Alesis/numark: Apply this to the synth engine of the micron - with the proper mappings you'll kill some hardware synths - get the curves and layouts nailed and you'll more closely mimic the feel of the real deal. Does anyone else think this a good idea? Thoughts?
Members syncretism
You can do stuff like this with the Nord Modular series. It is, of course, a Very Good Idea.
Members XorAxAx
You don't want Alesis to build it. It would be a great idea, but it would either fall apart, get released early with too many bugs, or they'd fire anyone with real knowledge about it. Members stikygum
It sucks that's true, but

Members mildbill
Wow - you guys are really coming down hard on this innovative company (but I hope they read it). I've got a boatload of Alesis gear and really enjoy it all. But if it takes a bit of bashing for them to get their quality control act together, then so be it.
