Which pedals for Nord Electro?

Just ordered an Electro 2.0 73 for my wife, and now trying to figure out which pedals I need to get. Figure we'll use the Roland sustain pedal she already has for the sustain on the Nord, are thinking a Roland EV-5 for an expression pedal, but not sure what pedal to use for the controller for the rotary speaker speed switch. Will a regular sustain pedal work for that? Wondering maybe if I need something like an on/ off switch like a Roland FS1, or Boss FS-5 (either latching or non latching). Any thoughts on what to get?

Regular sustain pedal. But hold off on that: there is a setting that allows the sustain pedal to control rotary speed when using the organ side. Unless you want to do speed switches while using piano patches it makes for one less arm on the octopus.

Get one of those little Roland DP2 type pedals for the rotary if you want separate sustain and rotary. I like having the rotary pedal off to the left at the edge of my stand, and the volume pedal on the right at the edge of the stand. It's easy to reach the rotary pedal this way since your left foot is already right there. I tried using the sustain pedal method before and it's too close to the volume pedal for me to comfortable hit it with my left foot (I have the sustain a little to the right of center so it's easy to take my foot off the expression pedal and only move it a few inches to hit the sustain). I end up sitting with my legs together and twisted off to the right side some, not the best position for playing. Plus, a regular sustain has too much travel for hitting a rotary on and off IMO.
