Members CoolDrum3
Ok, so I have leafDrums (excellent little piece of freeware) for creating and looping some basic drum tracks. I want to create some basic jamming tracks for practicing my guitar. I need something that will allow me to create bass lines, something that will let me put in some string synths, and something that will allow me to put it all together (I currently have Cubase SX which I think will serve that purpose). Can anyone help me? P.S.-I also have a 49 key midi controller at my disposal, but prefer something point and click at this point.
Members stikygum
What's stopping you from using Cubase to do this? Learning curve? Ableton I think might be the easiest for loading loops and creating new ones. Any free/cheap VSTs will give you bass and strings. Can you be more specific? It has everything you need. Drums/Synth Modules/bass samples. If you want something a little more complex with a few more options I'd go with Reason. Either way, you'll be able to do the point and click thing or utilize that midi controller of yours. Peace
