My secret behind MASSIVE pads.

Recipie:

Waldorf Q+ on Multimode. Using the same pad sound on instrument 1, 2, and 3. Routed to Main Out, Aux Out 1 & 2. Instruments 4-16 are OFF.

Main out: Into Moog MuRFs, and then each MuRF goes stereo out to a Kurzweil Mangler and Rumour. Using a nice flange and reverb on each. Then into board.

Aux Out 1: Into the Moog LPFs, then stereo into a TC D Two, and just for good measure into MacBeth's Moroco, and to the board.

Aux Out 2: Into a TC M-One XL into Mooger Delays. Mix out on delay 1 into a Moog Phase, mix out on delay 2 into an Infinitphase. Wet out on each delay into Mooger Ring Mods.

Hook up a few Voltage cables and ........ :freak:

Nice, Sceiron. ;)

I have done similar things with my Elektron MonoMachine, where each of the six outputs has a chain of pedals and rack gear connected to it. Most often this is in a multi situation, but I suppose I could rearrange things for a polysynth experience.

For example, I have over a half-dozen analog chorus sources, so I could put one on each output and get a nice swimming sea of swirl. ;)

cheers,

Ian

Yeah, time to hear this sonic incantation!

A long time ago I worked for JEM imports, the distribution arm of the company that had Larry Fast under contract as a musician. Marty, the M in JEM (and the coolest of the three), once told me that they were putting a Moog together for Larry because he wanted one that would alllow him to press down a single key and see God.

Show me God!

Then what's the point of posting about it? This is the digital age we're living in afterall.

Anyway ... it takes all of whatever to render the MP3. Upload. Whatever. When you get around to it. Obviously we're wetting our pants here in anticipation ...

God bless the music makers!
