Behringer Keyboard Amps

Keyboardists, I have been doing a lot of research on what are the best keyboard amps for my purposes and most responses have been leaning towards the Roland KC-350 and Motion Sound. I have also been reading the Behringer keyboard amps are getting reviews up in the 9-10 star range and sound great and are built well. Behringer products have always had mixed opinions in the music world. I have a little Behringer 4 channel mixer which is quiet and so far, has worked out fine

Also, the Behringer keyboard amps are a bit cheaper than others in their class. if you have one of these amps, how are they working out, are the speakers good, easy to lift and carry around and do they sound as good as they say and have balls on stage?

Thanx katt:cool: :thu:

I own two of the K3000 amps, and they sound fantastic! They're pretty bassy, but so is the Roland KC 350, and it's far easier to cut some low frequencies with the graphic equalizers on the Behringer amps.

All synths are run through a Mackie 1604 submixer to the K3000 channel 1. For my Wurlitzer I run a direct out from the 1604 to channel 2 of the K3000 and boost the reverb & chorus there. All other synths are routed to channel 1 of the amp, and the effects are turned down.

I had two of the KX1200 (I think that's what they were called) amps set up behind me - very nice for the Leslie sim on the NI B-4. I think I paid $500 for both. Only problem I had was once when I came back from vacation, somehow one of the 12" speakers had crapped out. Hmm, wonder if the bass player in the youth praise band had anything to do with that?
