Members ltjrules915
I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the filter levels on an Alesis Micron for bass patches. I'm looking for a tone that can substitute a bass guitar part for live shows and recording and what not. any input helps! Thanks!
Members rovito
I'm not into messing with filters... but I use The patch called PURR bass on my Micron alot instead of my bass guitar. I shift the octave down and use it for low bass sounds. Works really well live.
Members kayvon
I had to program some bass sounds on the Micron to replace bass guitar in a band situation and I got some of the best results from Frequency modulating (FM) the oscillators against one another. I just used two sine's maybe tweaked a little for shape towards triangle with a envelope modulating the FM amount. I think I left the filter all the way open.
