Members skunk3
I've always wanted to play around with remixing songs... you know, popular ones. Is there any sort of internet database out there with midi files for popular dance/rap/pop songs? I can find instrumentals and acapellas but I want the midi files themselves so I can deconstruct them and make my own versions.
Members Khazul
Just need original track, Live 6, drum machine, some synths and your ears (to figure out the key/harmonies/tune to your synths etc) Re-doing it from MIDI on the net sux!
Members Allerian
Afaik, the standard practice is to simply recreate the tracks. Lucky, most pop songs aren't very complex.

I already have all that. I can't recreate a lot of stuff in songs because I am not that musically inclined. I know a lot of songs aren't SUPER complex but I know that I probably can't recreate them the way I want to.
